Need help researching an article

or historical progamme?

I have been carrying out family and local history research for 25 years and have a keen interest in the North East of England in general and County Durham in particular.

Within County Durham, my main focus for research is the East Durham coal mining industry and the people who developed the area during the 1800’s.

I have been involved in the co-ordination of several local history books looking at the development of industries and settlements within the East Durham area over a period of 150 years.

If your company is planning an article or programme about an historical local figure or event, then I am able to carry out the background research and present a document of my findings.
